To get a good understanding of the situation, it’s important to know that Ronaldo has two main agents: Jorge Mendes and Simon de Quieroz. The former runs Ronaldo’s affairs for him, while the latter is a consultant for Mendes; they represent a large number of top players in the world, and are instrumental in the transfer market. The Ronaldo-Juventus situation has been a tense one: after four years at the Juventus, Ronaldo returned to United and signed a new £300,000-a-week, four-year deal in the summer of 2018.
It’s been five years since Cristiano Ronaldo left Old Trafford for the Bernabeu in a world record £80m move after nine seasons with the Red Devils. After everything he’d achieved, it was hard to believe that Ronaldo would leave but that’s exactly what happened. The Madrid outfit also offered him bonuses of £30m each year, which he couldn’t turn down.

The theme for 2021 is “Celebrating Community,” and there is a lot to enjoy this year since the event was canceled due to COVID last year.
On Saturday, Oct. 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Sunken Gardens will be open to the public. The procession kicks up at 10 a.m. and follows El Camino Real.
For additional information and descriptions of the day’s events, go to colonydays.org.
The 43rd Annual Colony Days Reception, sponsored by Quota of Atascadero, will start off the celebration of Colony Days on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. at Atascadero Bible Church Fellowship Hall, 6225 Atascadero Avenue.
We’re going to get through this together, Atascadero
Men and women aged 55 and over who have resided in Atascadero for at least 40 years or who attended Atascadero schools and have lived in San Luis Obispo County for at least 40 years are eligible to attend the tea. Reservations are required and may be done by calling 805-466-8602 and asking for Dyann Shepard.
The king, queen, and grand marshal of the Colony Days will be recognized, and the queen will be given her crown.
Residents who have lived in Atascadero for a long period will have the opportunity to reminisce about their childhood.
I’ve been searching for a dish to serve for the Quota Colony Days Reception, and I believe this one would be ideal. With the usage of pumpkin, it’ll be a great way to kick off October!
You’ll need six 3-inch tart pans for this recipe.
2 (10-inch) pie crusts (I prefer Pillsbury or Trader Joe’s) Ingredients: Pumpkin Pecan Tarts 3 eggs (big) 1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin puree 12 cup of sugar 14 cup dark brown sugar, tightly packed 12 cup corn syrup (dark) 2 tblsp. butter, melted 1 tablespoon flour (all-purpose) vanilla extract (two tablespoons) 34 teaspoon cinnamon powder 14 teaspoon nutmeg powder a quarter teaspoon of kosher salt 1 cup pecans, roughly chopped
Topping: 1 cup heavy cream (whipped) a quarter cup of powdered sugar 1 teaspoon extract de vanille 2 tbsp. bourbon (or dark rum)
Unroll the pie crusts and cut them into six 4-inch circles to line mini tart pans; crimp the corners. To make it easier to remove the tarts from the oven, place them on baking sheets. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, pumpkin, sugars, corn syrup, melted butter, flour, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Pour into pie crusts that have been prepared. Pecans should be sprinkled on top. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes on the middle rack of a preheated 350°F oven, or until the center is firm. Allow to cool for at least 1 hour before slicing and storing in the refrigerator until ready to serve. To make the topping, whisk together the cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and bourbon or rum until firm peaks form. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Because tarts are very rich, tiny slices are recommended.
This dish is suitable for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. Consider sending a few of these tarts along with a small bag of tea to a friend to wish them a “good day!”
Cheers!
